General

• The union is called: Old English Sheepdog Club Nederland. The union can
  use the short name "O.E.S.C.N".

• The union has been founded for indefinite time at the First of January
  Nineteen Hundred Sixty Seven.

Scope:

• The maintenance and improvement of the breed Old English Sheepdog;

• To benefit the health and welfare of the dogs which belong to the breed in
  general, and to  prevent and fight inherited diseases in the breed in particular;

• To increase the contact between breeders and lovers of the Old English Sheepdog.

Activities:

• Organizing meetings, seminars and trainings;

• Organizing expositions;

• Provide info about buying-, keeping-, breeding- and raising Old English Sheepdogs;

• Set up rules for fighting inherited diseases which contains the breed and execute
  these rules;

• Register results of health-tests of Old English Sheepdogs, concerning inherited diseases.
  These results will be published and are available for breed programs;

• Publish a magazine;

• Participate in the consult of the organized cynologic;

• Everything else which can provide the scope, and is not in conflict with the rules of the
  Dutch Kennel Club

Membership

• The membership fee is € 32,00 a year (excl. € 5,00 entry fee & the costs of international
  banking). The family membership fee is € 7,00 a year.
  When you become a member after the 1th of Juli, you only pay € 15,50 & € 5,00 entry fee.
